Meet the training team

Six people accompany the Shamanic Intensive Training with the Fly Agaric Spirit.

Gerti Schön

Gerti Schön

"I had the privilege of accompanying people in their emotional growth as a psychotherapist in New York City for 20 years, and spent a long time in the Catskill Mountains, connecting deeply with nature. I now live and work in the rolling hills of Germany's Main Valley.

The fly agaric came into my life five years ago. Through its consciousness-expanding qualities, it took both my work supporting others and my ability to communicate with other-than-human beings to a new level."

Nora Mamblona Fischer

Nora Mamblona Fischer

"I am at home between the Chiemgau Alps and Arizona's Sonoran Desert. As a researcher and traveller, I visit Indigenous communities around the world.

I am currently pursuing my doctorate at the California Institute of Integral Studies, researching the therapeutic effects of low-dose Amanita muscaria (amanita-studie.de). Before that, I completed my MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at King's College London, with a master's thesis on the safety and efficacy of psilocybin-assisted therapy for people with adverse childhood experiences.

My path is also rooted in the Shipibo tradition of the Peruvian Amazon. My background also includes an Iboga initiation in Gabon, West Africa, and training as a psilocybin facilitator at the Synthesis Institute, in Compassionate Inquiry as developed by Dr. Gabor Maté and in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

On my path between science, therapy and shamanism, a protected space where people can feel compassionately supported is especially important to me."

Laura Erceg-Simon

Laura Erceg-Simon

Laura Erceg-Simon lives with her family in Berlin, and occasionally in Croatia. She is interested in the interplay between art and healing. Her path has taken her from acting through writing, puppetry, clowning, permaculture and shamanism to Amanita muscaria. She offers shamanic support and creates spaces for sharing experiences with the fly agaric.

Here she explores the power of the group and self-efficacy, bringing mushroom and clown together.

She is a member of the writing collective Freundinnen des Alltags and co-editor of the podcast Echte Puppen.

Franziska Bahr

Franziska Bahr

As a special-needs educator, Franziska Bahr has supported people with a wide range of disabilities and mental health conditions for many years. She sees herself as a companion through transitions: times of change, growth and letting go. Through her work in a hospice, she also has the privilege of offering people attentive support on the final stage of their lives.

It is close to her heart to bring light into the world and help people discover their own resources, strengthen their sense of self-efficacy and follow their own path with greater ease.

As a somatic process facilitator in training, she combines work with the fly agaric and embodiment, also drawing on sound and energy work. With openness, compassion and trust, she accompanies people on their path back into connection with themselves and sees herself as part of a conscious shift towards greater connection and authenticity.

Marlene Ertlmaier

Marlene Ertlmaier

From womb to heart to systemic change.

Freedom from old patterns of pain, oppression and fear. For a life of peace, abundance and freedom. Marlene first devoted many years to this through environmental and human-rights activism, theatre workshops and dance. Years later, nervous-system regulation led her to holistic bodywork for trauma integration.

Her training in Holistic Bodywork was complemented by Internal Family Systems, NARM, constellations work and the trauma-analysis approach Integral Deep Listening. Having lived nomadically in nature for four years, she has a particularly strong connection to forests and water.

She has found her calling through herbal medicine and support with Amanita muscaria, as well as intuitive dance and vocal expression. In her work supporting womb-centred processes in particular, she opens a deep, sacred space where everything may come to light and be transformed. With a sense of justice and magic, devotion to mysticism and the courage to be clear, a sensitive heart and hands ready to act.

Armin Lovo

Armin Lovo

Armin sees himself as a life-loving activist and bridge-builder for cultural regeneration. He grew up by Lake Neusiedl in eastern Austria and has lived for many years with his family and many other children and adults in the Wolfskogel housing collective, a former sanatorium in the midst of a pine forest.

His long-standing work and friendships with Indigenous wisdom keepers from Central and South America led him to become a bridge-builder for the reawakening of our colourful Indigenous stories, dances, songs and symbols, which remain alive behind the patriarchal wall of guilt and shame. In this role, he sensitively accompanies people who feel the call of Amanita and are finding their way home to a sense of lightness.

Armin works with men with a focus on Caring Masculinity. He is trained in social and human ecology, wilderness education and facilitation.
